  Ellen was known as Nell and sailed on the S.S. Regina from Greenock arriving in Portland, Maine on 4 March 1925 before moving on to Chicago. She was a cook at that time but later returned to Scotland and became a midwife in Glasgow. (Paul Byrnes, Scotland)
