Photos | McGlade,Annie(67)_Pittsburgh_1910 Extract from the 1910 census; Pittsburgh, PA USA. It is the household of Owen Quinn and his wife Bridget-formerly Bridget McGlade from Levelamore, County Armagh (the census enumerator entered "Bertha M" instead of "Mary M"). Also residing at their home are children Mamie C (Mary), Edward and niece Catherine Quinn. The entry of resident "McGlade Annie, Mother in Law" is Bridget's mother, Ann McGlade aged 69, (formerly Ann McGinnis from Levelamore) who emigrated from County Armagh after her husband died in 1886. Also resident are Bridget's brother John (aged 24) and sister Annie. John lost both arms in a railway accident but later went on to work in the legal profession. Owen Quinn is a "Grocery Merchant" and they appear to employ a female Servant and a Stableman. © Ancestry.com. 1910 United States Federal Census. Keywords: Picture |
