    • In March 1894 Mary returned to Ireland from America where the family had been living. The group consisted of James, Mary & children Annie, Nellie & George (see media-copy of ship's Passenger List).
      1901 census living in Glen, Co Down (townland Derrycraw). P McGrath GEDCOM files birth date is 1858 in Ballard. 1901 census (with family in Glenn, Co Down) states Mary born Co Armagh.
      1911 census: married for 28 years - so marriage about 1883.

In June 1945 Peter Hannaway married Sarah Byrnes in Lislea, County Armagh. Welcome to the pages of their families.

For reasons of privacy the names and details of living family members are not included without their permission.

My thanks go to Benedict Martin for his research and his encouragement. Likewise to Paul Byrnes for his generous research of the Byrnes’ members who moved to Scotland or to the north of England.
