Michael's father Denis is "Deceased". The entry - "Testes [witness/Best Man] Jas. Magee" is most likely Michael's brother James. The bridesmaid is Catherine Morgan. Catherine has yet to be identified from several Morgan families living locally in Adanove and Slieve Gullion townlands. Her visit to the Registrar in Forkhill, 17 days after Michael's death, was on 28 Jul 1913. It is not known why their adult children did not register-if they did it was not recorded. © https://www.irishgenealogy.ie - Civil Registers of Births, Marriages and Deaths & Church Records.

Picture Note: 1864 map of Slieve Gullion & of surrounding townlands adjoining the Longfield Road. The five holdings (Nos 2 to 6) each show the tenant's name in 1864 followed by the year another tenant took over - up to 1929.
Picture Note: In land plot 2 John Hannaway left home in 1867 and married into Levelamore, inheriting its tenancy in 1886. Back in Slieve Gullion John later took over his parent's land (plot 2) in 1916, following the death of his brother Hughie. In plot 4 Michael McGee was from Denis (Dinny) Mcgee's household (No 5); Michael had married neigbour Catherine Farmer in 1865.
Picture Note: These households were at 850 feet and acess down to the (Longfield) road was mostly through Aughadanove townland. Since most could not read at this time "Aughadanove" was invariably recorded as their home on births/marriages, rather than "Slieve Gullion". • Notes
    • In their 1865 marriage record Michael is 1 year older than Catherine. In the 1901 census he states he is 10 years older.
Michael's family seem to use the spelling Magee rather than McGee. The 1911 census records that Michael & his brother James were both born in Co Down - where it is usually spelt Magee. The 1911 census also records that Catherine has borne 7 children; 6 are living.
Like the Hannaway's the McGee's stated on official records (marriage/births) they were from Aughdanove townland. However they lived in Slieve Gullion townland bordering Aughadanove - through which they would access the road (Longfield Road).
